to bow- quickly,” a familiar voice prodded.
The Bound Man
looked up at the man who had materialized next to the Queen. He was the thin
youth speaker and his dark eyes darted nervously between the Queen, the vocal
Minister and the chained slave. Sensing the Bound Man’s hesitance, the speaker
clapped his hands together, elbows pointing out and raised them to his lips,
bending his head and hands forward slightly.
“What-” the
Minister began, eyes narrowing.
The Bound Man looked at the Queen and met her eyes at
last. They were expectant, portraying an urgency her lips did not.
